Why post-curing matters

After printing and washing, the resin has not yet reached its declared properties. Only a properly cured print achieves the strength, color and biocompatibility specified by the resin manufacturer. That is why the curing unit is best chosen together with the printer and resins.

  • FabCure 1S – a compact unit with a rotating platform, compatible with AccuFab-Aris.
  • FabCure 2 – high-power multi-directional curing, a larger chamber, OLED display and material library.
  • FabCure N2 – curing by material profiles, with repeatable parameters for each resin.
  • HeyGears UltraCraft AirCure – curing in up to 10 min, underwater, dry and curing-agent modes; designed for HeyGears printers.
  • Tera Harz Cure – a 3rd-generation chamber that reduces oxygen without an external nitrogen cylinder; required for Graphy resins.
  • Ceramix-Nano accessory – aesthetic curing in an N2 or CO2 atmosphere in ~30 s.

How to choose

Choose a unit validated by your printer and resin manufacturer, and make sure the chamber fits your typical cases. Curing parameters are listed in the specifications of each resin. Prints must be washed before curing – see washing units.

Frequently asked questions

Is curing in a nitrogen atmosphere necessary?

For Graphy Tera Harz resins the manufacturer requires curing in a reduced-oxygen environment, for which Tera Harz Cure is designed. For other resins, standard UV curing according to their manufacturer's instructions is sufficient.

Which unit suits a HeyGears printer?

UltraCraft AirCure is recommended for the HeyGears A2D-HD – it is also included in the A2D-HD complete set.

Can different resins be cured in the same unit?

Yes, if the unit allows you to set the time and temperature the material requires. FabCure 2 and FabCure N2 have material profiles, so parameters can be saved for each resin.
