Casting alloys

All casting alloys are supplied in 1 kg packs, and their solidus–liquidus range, casting temperature, coefficient of thermal expansion and mechanical properties are listed in the specifications. MESA IGEA Narrow Ti4 – a titanium Grade 4 implant, 3.5 × 8 mm, with a conical internal hex connection and SLA surface.
How to choose an alloy
For metal-ceramics, the alloy's coefficient of thermal expansion must match your ceramic system. For nickel-sensitive patients, choose Co-based alloys or titanium. Clasp-retained dentures with clasps require a type 5 alloy with high hardness and yield strength. If you need to compare several alloys or obtain manufacturer documentation, write to us.
