Description

MESA MAGNUM VIP-A – a chromium-cobalt-molybdenum (Cr-Co-Mo) dental alloy for removable partial (cast clasp-retained) denture frameworks with clasps. It is classified as a Type 5 alloy according to ISO 22674.

The alloy offers good mechanical properties and is easy to polish to a high shine, making it well suited for clasps. Although it belongs to the high-strength alloy group, its modulus of elasticity (211 GPa) is not excessively high, so the restoration remains slightly more flexible.

  • Type 5 Cr-Co-Mo alloy according to ISO 22674
  • For removable partial (cast clasp-retained) denture frameworks with clasps
  • Good mechanical properties, easy to polish
  • Balanced modulus of elasticity (211 GPa)
  • Pack – 1 kg
01

Easy to polish

Clasp surfaces are easy to polish to a smooth, glossy finish.

02

Balanced rigidity

An elastic modulus of 211 GPa combines strength with a certain degree of flexibility.

03

High hardness

A hardness of 386 HV10 ensures durability under everyday loads.
