Vonflex S consistencies

Vonflex S is a vinyl polysiloxane (VPS) impression material, hydrophilic and thixotropic, suitable for single-phase and two-layer impression techniques.

  • Putty: 280 ml base + catalyst, for the preliminary impression in the two-step technique.
  • Heavy: tray material; working time ≈ 2 min 15 s, setting time ≈ 4 min.
  • Medium: for single-phase impressions.
  • Light: wash material for preparation details.
  • Bite: for bite registration.

Heavy, Medium, Light and Bite are supplied in 50 ml cartridges: packs of 2 with mixing tips or packs of 12 without tips. The cartridges require the V-Dispensing Gun (GUN Type).

Trays

Eazitray: disposable impression trays in Small (white), Medium (yellow) and Large (blue). Suitable for alginate and silicone materials, and the color code helps you quickly find the right size. For custom trays and bite registration base plates: Eazipan LC sheets, 50 pcs per box.

Digital alternative

Some impressions can be replaced by digital scanning: see intraoral scanners. Labs also 3D print custom trays, e.g. from HeyGears Tray UV or SHINING DENT TR01 resin. Such a tray is made from the patient's model, so the layer of impression material is even.
