CAD/CAM discs for milling: YUCERA 4D Pro Multilayer and ST Color zirconia discs, PMMA discs for temporary restorations and denture bases, wax discs, graphene-reinforced G-CAM discs, MESA Co-Cr-Mo and titanium Grade 23 discs. Most discs are 98 mm in diameter (open system), and some are also available in 95 mm. Price depends on shade, diameter and thickness.

Materials by indication

  • Zirconia discs: for permanent crowns, bridges, veneers and frameworks. 4D Pro Multilayer: 15-layer gradient, 57–43 % translucency and 800–1300 MPa; ST Color: single shade, ≥ 1100 MPa.
  • PMMA discs: for temporary crowns and bridges (MONO, Multilayer) and denture bases (Pink); G-CAM is graphene-reinforced PMMA.
  • Wax discs: for wax-ups and burnout patterns for casting.
  • Metal discs: MESA MAGNUM SOLARE Co-Cr-Mo and HYPERONE titanium Grade 23, Ø 98.5 mm, 8–22 mm.

Diameter and thickness

98 mm discs with a step fit most open milling systems; 95 mm discs are for systems that use discs without a step. For PMMA discs, the manufacturer also states compatibility with Amann Girrbach and Zirkonzahn M3/M5 systems. Choose the thickness based on the tallest restoration, with allowance for connectors: 14–16 mm is usually sufficient for single crowns, while longer bridges and large cases require a thicker disc.

Shades

YUCERA zirconia is supplied in VITA Classical shades, and 4D Pro Multilayer also in bleach shades BL1–BL4. PMMA MONO and Multilayer are also available in a range of VITA shades.

Sintering

Sinter zirconia work according to the disc manufacturer's program. To support bridges in the furnace, use YUCERA sintering beads. Milling machines and sintering furnaces are not currently in our catalog, but we are happy to advise on process parameters.

Frequently asked questions

Which zirconia disc should I choose for anterior teeth?

For full-contour anterior crowns and veneers, the multilayer YUCERA 4D Pro Multilayer disc is usually chosen for its translucency gradient. For long bridges and frameworks, the stronger ST Color is suitable.

Are the discs compatible with my milling machine?

YUCERA discs are supplied in 98 mm (open system with step) and some in 95 mm diameter; MESA metal discs are 98.5 mm. Check your machine's holder type or consult us.

How much does a zirconia disc cost?

The price depends on the line, diameter and thickness; once you select a variant on the product page, the price updates automatically.

Do you supply titanium discs?

Yes, MESA MAGNUM HYPERONE titanium Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) discs, Ø 98.5 mm, 8–22 mm thick, and an H7 rod of the same alloy.
