Description
Mandibular Movement Trajectory Tracking is a software module for the Shining 3D MetiSmile face scanner, designed to record the patient's mandibular movements in real time. The recorded motion data is exported to software such as exocad, so that prosthetic and occlusion design specialists can design restorations based on the patient's actual jaw function rather than a static bite registration alone.
On the MetiSmile-MR model, this function is standard and included in the device package, while for the base MetiSmile version the module must be purchased separately. Using the function requires additional consumables – motion trackers and markers, sold separately (Jaw Motion Consumables kits).
