Description
Disposable and limited-use parts kits for Shining 3D MetiSmile and MetiSmile-MR face scanners with the Jaw Motion Tracking function. The kits include motion trackers attached to teeth or implants, caps with a unique geometric pattern and adhesive markers, which the scanner uses to record the mandibular movement trajectory in real time.
Motion trackers come in two attachment types – cemented (bonded directly to the teeth with cement) and screw-retained (secured with a screw). A blue or grey geometric cap is attached to each tracker; the software uses its pattern to precisely identify movement in space. A complete kit (Kit 1) is typically sufficient for approximately 6 recording procedures.
