Description

AdDent MICROLUX 2 – a portable LED transilluminator for dentists, used as an adjunct during routine oral examinations. Bright light directed into the tooth passes through the tissue and helps reveal structural changes that are hard to see with the naked eye or on radiographs.

The device helps detect caries in anterior and posterior teeth, coronal and root fractures, root canal orifices and composite remnants. A single button press switches between high and low light intensity – the lower setting is convenient for photography. It runs on two AAA batteries and switches off automatically after 7 minutes to save power.

An interchangeable glass light-guide tip attaches to the handle – 2 mm (micro) or 3 mm (standard); it can be complemented with other MICROLUX accessories (Pedo, Endo-Lite, Perio Probe, Proximal Caries, illuminated mirror).

Clear view

A high-intensity LED (~6800 K) clearly highlights carious lesions and cracks by transillumination.

Two light modes

Switch between high (min. 5000 lx) and low (min. 1500 lx) intensity with one button; low mode is convenient for photography.

Interchangeable tips

2 mm and 3 mm glass light guides and other MICROLUX accessories suit a variety of clinical situations.

Long cordless operation

Two AAA batteries provide up to 5 hours of continuous operation in high-intensity mode.
