Description
Genuine AdDent MICROLUX and MICROLUX 2 transilluminator accessories: interchangeable light-guide tips, specialized diagnostic tips and their disposable fibers. All accessories attach to the same front end of the handle, so the device can be adapted to a specific clinical task.
Glass light-guide tips (2 mm micro, 3 mm standard, 2 mm Pedo) are intended for general diagnosis of caries, fractures and root canal orifices. Specialized stainless steel tips are used with disposable fibers: Endo-Lite for root fractures, Perio Probe for measuring periodontal pocket depth (markings at 3, 5 and 7 mm) and Proximal Caries for visualizing interproximal caries beneath the marginal ridge. Fiber refill kits are sold separately. The illuminated mirror acts as an additional light source during examination, and protective sleeves help maintain hygiene between patients.

Glass tips and metal tip housings are autoclavable, so they last a long time.
