SHINING DENT Ortho Model Resin OD02

SHINING DENT OD02 – a photopolymer 3D resin for printing orthodontic models. It is designed for models used to fabricate vacuum-formed aligners, as well as for other orthodontic appliances and working models.

High heat resistance allows the model to remain stable and retain its shape after thermoplastic sheet pressing, while high hardness makes the cured model wear-resistant and keeps it accurate during repeated use. According to the manufacturer, a 1 kg bottle yields 30–32 models, and one print cycle on the AccuFab-F1 printer takes about 16 min.

After printing, the models are washed and post-cured (FabCure 2 – 7 min).

By printing models in OD02, the entire aligner workflow – from intraoral scanning to vacuum forming – can be completed without pouring plaster models.
