Description
SHINING DENT TR01 – a white, biocompatible photopolymer 3D resin for printing custom impression trays. Its high elastic modulus means the printed tray flexes very little under high pressure, resulting in more accurate impressions. Thanks to its biocompatibility, the tray can be used safely for short-term intraoral contact.
According to the manufacturer's description, the resin is also suitable for denture baseplates and other functional trays, and has a barely perceptible odor and taste. According to the manufacturer, a 1 kg bottle yields 35–38 trays.
After printing, the tray is washed and post-cured (FabCure 2 – 7 min).
A custom tray printed from a digital model replicates the patient's anatomy, so the impression material is distributed more evenly. The resin is designed for SHINING 3D AccuFab series printers with a 405 nm wavelength.
