Shining 3D Coded Scan Bodies – New Generation, Removable Screw

Leave your details — we will prepare an offer and contact you.

Description

Coded scan bodies are designed for digitizing full-arch implant positions with the Aoralscan Elite and Aoralscan Elite Wireless intraoral scanners using intraoral photogrammetry (IPG). Each scan body carries a unique geometric dot code, so the software precisely identifies the position of each implant and aligns the data. This reduces the stitching errors typical of conventional edentulous arch scanning.

This set belongs to the new-generation series with a removable screw: the scan body housing and the screw are separate. After each case, the screw can be cleaned, disinfected and, if necessary, replaced individually without replacing the whole scan body – lowering running costs and simplifying sterilization. Screws from different sets are marked with letters and colors for easier identification during work.

Use

The scan bodies are screwed onto multi-unit abutments (MUA) using the included screwdriver and torque wrench (tightening torque 10–15 N·cm), then scanned with the Aoralscan Elite software.

  • Compatible with the Aoralscan Elite / Elite Wireless system only
  • Removable screw – easier cleaning and lower running costs
  • Three configurations: complete set with tools, set without tools, single scan body
  • Check compatibility with your implant system / MUA before ordering
01

Accurate implant position

Each body's unique code lets the software identify every implant and reduce errors across the full arch.

02

Removable screw

The screw separates from the body, so only the screw can be cleaned, disinfected and replaced without replacing the whole scan body.

03

Controlled tightening

The included torque wrench and screwdriver help ensure the correct tightening torque (10–15 N·cm).

04

Flexible configuration

Choose the full kit with tools or only the scan bodies and screws if the clinic already has the required tools.

Frequently asked questions

What are coded scan bodies?

Bodies with a unique geometric dot code that the Aoralscan Elite software uses to accurately recognize the position of each implant in a full-arch case and reduce stitching errors.

What is the benefit of a removable screw?

After each case, the screw can be cleaned, disinfected and, if needed, replaced separately without replacing the whole body – lower running costs and simpler sterilization.

Which scanners are they used with?

Aoralscan Elite and Aoralscan Elite Wireless in intraoral photogrammetry (IPG) mode; the bodies are screwed onto multi-unit abutments (MUA).

How can different sets be told apart?

The screws of different sets are marked with letters and colors so they are easier to identify during work.
