Description
AdDent Bio/Screen – a portable fluorescence illumination device that helps dentists detect suspicious oral mucosal changes early. It is intended to complement a routine oral examination, not to replace standalone diagnosis or histopathological examination.
Five high-power violet LEDs (400–450 nm) combined with an optical filter induce biofluorescence of healthy tissue, so altered tissue appears as darker areas against a bright glowing background during examination. No additional oral rinse is needed, and the device can also be used under normal operatory lighting.
Bio/Screen is cordless, silent and quick to charge – a fully charged battery is enough for about 60 one-minute examinations. The device switches off automatically after five minutes of continuous operation. Before each patient, a disposable protective cap is placed over the tip of the device to prevent cross-contamination.

One charge is enough for about 60 one-minute examinations, and a full battery charge takes about 1.5 h.
Disposable lens covers protect against cross-contamination between patients.
Automatic shut-off after five minutes and a color-coded battery indicator help you monitor the device status.
