Description
Vericom Well-Root is a line of ready-to-use bioceramic (calcium silicate) materials for endodontic treatment. The paste in capsules is used as a repair material (e.g. for sealing root perforations, pulp capping, apexification), while the material in a syringe is used as a root canal sealer for the final obturation of the canal together with gutta-percha.
Both forms are bioactive: they set in the presence of moisture from the dentin and show almost no shrinkage on setting, so they adapt tightly to the canal walls. The material bonds well to dentin and gutta-percha, forms hydroxyapatite as it sets and is biocompatible with periapical tissues.
