Description
Vericom UC Cut is a cordless device combining heat and sonic vibration. Designed for cutting gutta-percha during obturation or retreatment, vertical gutta-percha condensation (down-packing), and gingival cauterization and hemostasis. Suitable for endodontists who need to cut gutta-percha points quickly and precisely at the canal orifice level without pulling them.
Only the tip end heats up (approximately 2–3 mm from the tip, up to about 180 °C), while the vibration helps cut gutta-percha cleanly without pulling the remaining filling out of the canal. Heat and vibration can be activated independently of each other. The complete set consists of the device, a storage and charging stand (UC Stand) and a set of tips. The tips differ by purpose: B2 and B8 – for cauterization, SB – for soft tissue contouring, CWT (#F, #FM, #M, #ML) – for vertical condensation of warm gutta-percha, GP CUT (#90, #110) – for cutting gutta-percha.
