Shining 3D Scan Cap – Scan Cap Set (12 pcs)

This scan cap set is designed for use with Shining 3D coded scan bodies in the Aoralscan Elite / Elite Wireless system when capturing implant positions in full-arch cases. The caps help solve a common problem: immediately after implant placement (with immediate loading), the soft tissues are not yet stable, and saliva, blood or tissue margins make it difficult to accurately match the geometric points of the coded scan body with the digital image.

Each cap type is made for a specific coded scan body / MUA type and therefore precisely fits the connection geometry. When caps are used together with coded scan bodies, data from both elements is transferred to the CAD model – improving the accuracy of implant position alignment and reducing the need for rescanning in complex cases.

Use

At least 2–3 caps per case are recommended for reliable data alignment. The caps are placed on the MUA by hand or with a screwdriver after checking the connection surface and screw condition.
