Description

MESA MAGNUM Lucens – a cobalt-chromium-based dental alloy with a small addition of niobium, for ceramic-veneered crown and bridge frameworks. It is classified as a Type 4 alloy according to ISO 22674.

The main advantage of the alloy is a significantly lower melting and solidus–liquidus temperature than standard Co-Cr alloys. The molten alloy flows well and accurately fills even fine casting details. Light-colored oxides, good machinability and easy polishing also make it suitable for bar and counter-bar constructions.

  • Type 4 Co-Cr-Nb alloy according to ISO 22674
  • Low melting and solidus–liquidus temperature
  • Good fluidity – accurate mold filling
  • Also suitable for bars and counter-bars
  • Pack – 1 kg
01

Low melting temperature

The solidus–liquidus range is considerably lower than that of standard Co-Cr alloys, making casting easier.

02

Good flowability

The molten alloy accurately fills every detail of the casting.

03

Easy polishing

Light-colored oxides and good machinability make final finishing easier.

04

Versatile use

Suitable not only for crown and bridge frameworks but also for bars and counter-bars.
