Description
Conventional denture base fabrication is often time-consuming and costly due to the many steps and the variety of materials involved. Tera Harz THD solves these problems: the denture base can be designed and 3D printed directly from scan data, shortening the workflow significantly – from several days to the same day.
The material is biocompatible, offers high flexural, tensile and impact strength, and its shrinkage is much lower than that of conventional denture base materials, so the denture fits better and more predictably.
Key benefits
-
Digital workflow: 3D scanning → CAD → printing → washing / curing → finishing → fitting
-
Shorter production time – the denture can be fabricated and delivered to the patient on the same day
-
Lower costs and fewer steps compared with conventional methods
-
High strength (flexural, tensile, impact) and low shrinkage
-
Biocompatibility – safe contact with oral tissues
-
Precise fit thanks to CAD design and dimensional stability after curing
Applications
-
Bases for complete and partial dentures
-
Components requiring rigidity and a precise fit
If the denture teeth are also made from Graphy TC-80DP and joined to the Graphy Resin Denture Base, they can be bonded durably thanks to excellent chemical adhesion, without the mechanical bonding used in conventional methods. This can prevent the artificial teeth from detaching / debonding from the denture base, as occurred with earlier methods.
