Description
AutoScan-DS-EX Pro is a SHINING 3D lab 3D scanner for dental labs, designed to capture data for restorations, orthodontics and implantology. It combines high scanning speed with an open, modular design, making it easy to load a variety of models, impressions and articulators.
A single-arch model is scanned in 9.5 s and a bite in 5 s. Scanning a complete case with sectioned dies takes up to 2 min, and an unsectioned model up to 2.5 min. The all-in-one mode allows a quadrant model and dies to be scanned at the same time – according to the manufacturer, this increases efficiency by almost 50%. Smart supplementary scanning calculates the path automatically and fills in unscanned areas.
In addition to static scanning, dynamic articulator scanning is available, capturing the full intermaxillary relationship. Texture scanning clearly transfers markings from the stone model – useful when designing partial denture frameworks.
