Description
AdDent Rite-Lite PRO – a multi-spectrum, high color rendering index (CRI > 90) light for accurate shade selection of teeth and restorations. The device simulates three different lighting conditions and has a black light mode for assessing fluorescence, so the shade match can be checked for metamerism: if the shade matches under several different spectra, the result is more accurate.
24 LEDs are grouped into three modes: daylight (~5500 K) for the initial shade selection, room light (~3200 K) and mixed ambient light (~3900 K) for verifying the result under other conditions. The black light (~395 nm) mode lets you compare the fluorescence of the natural tooth and the restorative material. Each mode offers a choice of three light intensity levels.

Frequently asked questions
Why check the shade under several light modes?
Because of metamerism: if the shade matches in daylight (~5500 K), room light (~3200 K) and mixed light (~3900 K), the result is reliable. The lamp has a color rendering index of CRI > 90.
What is the black light mode for?
The ~395 nm mode compares the fluorescence of the natural tooth and the restorative material – important for aesthetic work.
Can the light intensity be adjusted?
Yes – one of three intensity levels can be selected for each mode; 24 LEDs are divided into three modes.
