Description
Ray RIOSensor+ – a digital intraoral X-ray sensor for taking periapical and bitewing images in the dental office. Manufacturer: Ray Co., Ltd. (South Korea). Size 1 is the smaller sensor, better suited to narrower mouths or patients for whom a standard-size sensor is harder to position. The sensor connects to the computer via USB 2.0 and is used together with an intraoral X-ray unit and imaging software.
The sensor is based on a Super CMOS detector with a fiber optic layer and a CsI scintillator, providing a true resolution of 24 lp/mm. The housing is fully waterproof (verified by a 24-hour immersion test), and the reinforced design withstands impacts, bites and drops. The cable has been tested with a 7 kg load and tens of thousands of bending cycles.
A true resolution of 24 lp/mm enables accurate diagnosis.
The reinforced housing withstands impacts, bites and drops, and the cable has been tested for long-term intensive use.
The sensor can be disinfected by immersion – verified by a 24-hour immersion test.
A thin (7.3 mm) housing, rounded edges and a compact cable entry make sensor positioning easier.
Thanks to TWAIN compatibility, the sensor can be used with most popular intraoral imaging software.
