Humanchemie Tiefenfluorid – Deep Fluoridation

Tiefenfluorid – a deep fluoridation system from Humanchemie (Germany) for reducing cervical dentin hypersensitivity, mineral fissure sealing, long-term caries prevention and protecting teeth after bracket bonding. It consists of two solutions – the first (Touchier) followed by the second (Nachtouchier). Together they form abrasion-protected calcium and magnesium fluoride crystals that are deposited deep in the enamel and dentinal tubules.

Both solutions are applied one after the other to the dried tooth surface with a cotton pellet or brush – with no intermediate rinsing, waiting or curing. The patient can eat and drink immediately after the procedure. Thanks to its low viscosity, the solution readily reaches interproximal spaces and other hard-to-reach areas, including around brackets.
