Description
G-CAM – a graphene-reinforced biopolymer disc for milling with CAD/CAM systems, manufactured by Graphenano Dental (Spain). The disc is PMMA-based and additionally reinforced with medical-grade graphene; according to the manufacturer, this makes it stronger than standard PMMA, with biocompatibility and antibacterial properties. Intended for dental labs and clinics working with CAD/CAM milling systems.
G-CAM is used to fabricate complete removable dentures, single crowns and bridges, esthetic veneers, implant-supported restorations and long-term temporary prostheses. According to the manufacturer, a complete denture can be produced from this disc in approximately 3 hours.
