Description
Vericom DenFil Etchant is a semi-gel 37% phosphoric acid etchant for conditioning enamel and dentin before adhesive application using the total-etch technique. Designed for clinicians performing composite restorations, fissure sealing or cementation of indirect restorations.
The phosphoric acid is thickened with natural polymers rather than silica, so no residues that could impair bonding remain on the etched surface. The controlled viscosity allows the gel to be applied precisely only where needed, without running into surrounding areas. Standard protocol: etch for 15 seconds, rinse with a water/air spray and dry until the enamel shows its characteristic chalky appearance.
